history
“Inspire the women. Impact the world.” This has been Alpha Gam's vision since it was founded in 1904 and we the Gamma Delta chapter at Auburn University, continue to uphold this vision. Alpha Gamma Delta was founded May 20, 1904 at Syracuse University in New York by eleven founding women. Today an Alpha Gam chapter can be found on 181 campuses nationwide. Alpha Gam's today continue to posses the high ideals that our fraternity was founded on: academic excellence, leadership, and most importantly sisterhood.
